I have 2 dogs of my own and a cat . All are rescues. I have had dogs as pets my whole life. And I have cared for and housed family and friend's dogs on many occasions when they have gone away on travel. My first NYC Apartment rental was contingent on living with and taking care of a Doberman puppy for 6 months while his owner toured in a show. I have rarely been without a canine companion in my life and have always cared for dogs in some capacity . I have a dog who has had ill health and have administered pills orally. I've administered IV fluids to my beloved dying siamese cat. I am a part time music teacher and work in the mornings . I would be happy to have another canine join the mix for a short stay provided everyone gets along. I am also available to visit if the pet is more comfortable being in their own surroundings. I am available on most Holidays and in the summer as well. I have a 15 year old son who loves animals and a 21 year old daughter who is a sometimes at home. Both of my children have been with animals their whole lives. A home is really not a home without an animal. I am also a runner and run often with my dog Miley on the local trails.
