I ❤️ my four legged furry family

Pet care experience

I grew up with pets all around. From fish, cats, dogs, birds, peacocks to alpacas. But dogs always stood out. We had the need for a guard dog as well as a great family dog. I learned at an early age they all have so many different personalities and temperaments. We must attempt to adapt rather than attempting to bend the pet to our will. I am the alpha, but when it comes to play time, I let their personality go free. As an adult I have introduced four dogs into my family (not all at once). I have loved all of them. Jackie-O (a Jack Russell Terrier & perpetual puppy), Enzo (a miniature pinscher mix who thinks he's a Doberman), Tully (a Labrador mix with the brightest smile), and last but not least Finny (a Golden retriever mix who takes life at his own pace). Two of my sweethearts, Jackie-O & Tully have crossed the rainbow bridge and left a space that will never be filled. Still plenty of love for my other "kiddos" and will likely welcome others down the road.

Jill is an amazing dog person. She's very attentive and careful. She is detail oriented when it comes to special diets and needs. I have no hesitancy in recommending Jill as a dog caregiver.

Jill is a very loving and responsible pet caregiver. I would not hesitate to leave any pet in her care because in addition to being caring and responsible she is exceptionally competent and trustworthy in her dealings with both animals and humans.

We have used this company's service in the past, both in Nevada and in California. We know great effort is put into the process to make sure dogs are getting exceptional care. To put it very simply, Jill's philosophy and way of life when it comes to pets is the same as ours: her critters are her adored and so well-loved kids. That's exactly the kind of person in whose care any true pet parents want to leave their beasties. Period.

Information Jill F. would like to know about your pet

PLEASE NOTE: I DON’T PROVIDE OVERNIGHT OR DAYCARE SERVICE IN MY HOME. If you need assistance with your search for local daycare, I can offer suggestions. Mixed or full-bred, I have yet to meet a dog I haven’t liked. If you want to plan a meet & greet prior to any service I am happy to work around your schedule. Your furry kiddo(s) will be well taken of. •Please provide proof of current vaccinations •Possible fear or aggression toward other animals, children or adults - I will shorten the lead as we approach other people or pets during walks. •For our walks (and your walks at home) I highly recommend the PetSafe Easy Walk Harness. It is great for all dogs of all size, but focuses on those who pull when walking. There are options on some models to add a seat belt strap. Much easiser to control & doesn’t put pressure on the neck. Please do not use a retractable leash. If that is all you have, not to worry, I bring a coated rope lead & will be attaching it to your pup’s collar or harness. •Food & treat preferences •Recent surgeries or health issues •Current medications •Food allergies •Emergency contact(s) We’ll discuss concerns you may have and/or noticable boundaries your four-legged has toward certain people (ex. male vs female) and/or other dogs. Aggression or anxiety isn’t uncommon, especially when introduced in unfamiliar surroundings.

PLEASE NOTE: I DON’T PROVIDE OVERNIGHT OR DAYCARE SERVICE IN MY HOME. If you need assistance with your search for local daycare, I can offer suggestions. I’m happy to provide drop in services at your home or vacation rental. Services include meals, playtime, and/or walks for your pet(s). I am also available to housesit while caring for your pet(s). MEALS - Please provide snacks and food for your pet(s), keeping in mind some may not eat or drink as they would in their normal environment. PLAYTIME - if your dog(s) have a favorite toy, please bring it along. WALKS - I prefer a harness over a collar for walking during peak season due to distraction of enthusiastic tourists wanting to approach your dog(s). A harness allows me to better control the situation and lets your dog(s) decide if they want to initiate contact, especially if your pet tends to pull on walks. A collar will be fine, we will just adjust our route with fewer passersby. If your dog(s) are shy, I may choose to walk close to your property or walk around town to build social skills. While this is a very dog friendly town, I don’t want to bombard your pup if he or she isn’t comfortable around crowds. **River walks are fun in the summer - A longer walk where your dog has extra space to roam along the flat river bed and in the Virgin river. We wade in a shaded area, approximately 3” deep. Never during rain or heavy current. I use carabiner climbing rope leads so your dog is safely attached to his/her harness back to me. I am equally protective of your pets as I am mine - they are family. I have just as much fun playing in the water as my dog does. I provide towels, organic reward snacks & fresh water for our journey home. If interested, please let me know in advance of booking. The charge for a 45-60 minute river walk is $35.
