I’m a lifelong animal lover, who is passionate about animals and the care that they receive. I started working at a horse farm when I was just 9 years old. I continued to work at farms through high school. Then, while earning my bachelors degree, I worked at a veterinary clinic, house sat for numerous friends and family members, worked as a groomer assistant/kennel assistant/dog walker and worked at 2 other breeding horse farms. After college we established our own horse boarding farm and riding lesson program, which I ran for 13 years. At one time we cared for and managed 43 horses, on our farm. I’ve handled every aspect of everyday care for horses, potty trained puppies, administered meds to small animals, vaccinated and dewormed horses, raised baby birds, walked dogs of all sizes, trained horses and cared for elderly dogs. We now have a small farm where I live with my husband, two children, our 3 dogs, chickens, cats, horses and a pigeon.
