Pet care experience
Hello there! I am a grad student at the university of Utah in the occupational program and I am looking for a side gig and what better way than to hang out with doggies! I have an active 1 and 1/2 year old male blue heeler and we would love to take in your fur baby and join in on the fun! I have dog sat many of my families, friends, and neighbors pups and we have loved each one as if they are our own. We love to give cuddles and unlimited petting! I have done it all from drop ins to feed and let dogs out, overnight stays, and taking them out on walks. I am currently graduating in May (yay!) and am studying for my boards exam until mid May. I will be home with them for most of the day, and if I step out it’s usually for 1-3 hours. I like to take Kylo to the dog park to let out some energy, and I will also leave the back door open for the dogs to play and roam around in our backyard!

She was great! My dog was so tired the day after getting her back because Jilianne took her out for so much exercise! I got updates and pictures throughout the day which was wonderful. Highly recommend!
Jilianne was so nice and accommodating. She sent tons of pics of my baby while he was staying with her which I loved. My puppy loved having a buddy and got along with her dog famously. She also went out of her way to take our boy to his favorite park 2 days in a row! Jilianne is the best sitter we’ve used!
Jilianne is awesome! She communicates extremely well and made Bob (my dog) feel right at home. I loved seeing all the pics she took throughout the stay! I will 100% ask her to watch Bob again! Thanks Jilianne, for taking such good care of Bob!
I loved having Jillian take care of Evan. She gave me updates and photos to show how he was doing. Evan was so well-cared for and I couldn’t have asked or hoped for a better home to keep him in while I was away.

We have a 1 year old blue heeler so it would be ideal to have a dog that would be willing to hang out with an active puppy. He is neutered so we don’t mind if yours isn’t! As long as they are friendly, ideally potty trained, can obey basic commands, and doesn’t chew on furniture, we are pretty open! I would like to know how your dog does off leash, how often they’ll need to go potty, what time they are fed at, if they have any allergies, and anything else you would find useful to know!
A typical day
We love going to tanner park, play at local dog parks (fairmont dog park in sugarhouse), or even a hike/walk with an awesome view. Although we do not have our own yard, my apartment complex has their own dog park and a large grassy area to play fetch and go potty!
