Hello my friends! My name is Jessika, and I am here to provide professional and FUN care for your best buddies. I am Washington, DC native and love my city! My pet care experience all began after my freshman year in undergrad! I first attended Virginia State University before transferring back home to D.C. and attending University of Maryland - Global Campus! I've never had a pet of my own, but have grown up with family dogs and cats. I came into this business to form genuine bonds and connections with doggos. That was five years ago now, and it has been an amazing experience ever since. I am flexible with time and comfortable with all sizes and breeds, and have experience handling senior dogs. I also have assisted clients in training and enforcing good behaviors with their pups during my time with them. I genuinely enjoy my time with animals, and enjoy all the different personalities I come across! I can’t wait to meet you and your best friend!

Jessika took wonderful care of our anxious, high maintenance older dog! She’s very attentive, communicative, and provides loving care and is fantastic about sending photos and text updates!
Jessika was phenomenal. Our dog suffers from separation anxiety so it's always a little heart wrenching and a leap of faith when we leave home. Jessika was a gift. She took such good care of Gracie and sent consistent photos throughout the day. Gracie looked happier with her than she does with us! We highly recommend Jessika and look forward to working with her again.

I enjoy relaxing with your pet during stays - this all depends on their preference and activity level. If a pup enjoys playing long games of fetch in the yard, I can definitely adapt, or if your pup prefers to lounge around and nap, that is fine as well! For walk bookings, I will come in, prep the pup for walk time (leash, harness), and we will promptly leave for our adventure!

I’m in love with all dogs no matter the breed! I will love your pup like my own! Before booking a walk/stay, I would love to know if they have moderate/severe separation anxiety, feeding times, if they require meds any time during the day, and if they have allergies! I like to carry treats with me for photo purposes and it's helpful to organize my treat bag with snacks I know your pup will safely enjoy! I also appreciate knowing if your dog is dog/leash aggressive.
A typical day
I love going on morning runs (or walks) on my stays to get our energy up and pumping for the day! Depending on the area my stay is in (DC, MD, VA), I really like to go on trails and dog parks if your pup is active! If not, I don't mind relaxing and chilling at home! DC has many beautiful places to walk, and is very easy to get around. Since I’m not originally from MD or VA, I LOVE exploring and finding new places with your pup. Also I LOVE photographing all my clients! Photography is actually one of my hobbies.

I walk doggos during weekdays, and sometimes on the weekends. I'm a full-time student, but my classes are still online so this gives me more flexibility to spend time with your pups!
