Pet care experience
We always had dogs when I was growing up. I love the energy and companionship that they bring to a home. In 2019 I started volunteering with a local dog rescue and quickly became a foster home. I have taken puppies, mama dogs, and everything in between. They would go with me and my own dogs on walks, coffee runs, and TV nights. I know what it means to care for a pup that isn’t my own. Since I left the fostering world, I have boarded for previous adopters and friend's dogs.

I have two pups of my own that are socialized with daycare and used to having foster dogs around. We have a fenced back yard at the house. I’ve trained both my dogs to use a crate, so I understand that is a safe space for some.

A typical day
We love to go for walks, coffee runs, and hang out at the house. We have lots of fun toys and bones to play with. Riverside State Park is a short drive/walk away and we enjoy exploring the trails it has to offer.

Availability
I currently have a hybrid work schedule, which is flexible. I’m in office three days a week, two days from home, plus weekends I’m usually around the house.
