Pet care experience
**Dogs & Humans are up to date on all vaccinations** If you have any COVID related concerns regarding pick up & drop off, please let us know. We will be happy to accommodate you any way we can. To me, dogs are family and a necessity of life. I do not remember a time when a dog was not a part of my life. My pets are, and have always been, my children. Any animal in our care is treated with love, respect and compassion. When my husband and I vacation the most stressful part has always been finding an appropriate sitter. We understand the stress of making sure a pet is properly cared for and given enough attention when we are away, and we want to provide that comfort to others who need to travel without their companions. Any pets left in our care will be given tons of love, play & down time, and companionship! We have been dog sitting for friends and co-workers for years. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to become a part of the Rover community in order to find others seeking a safe, fun and comfortable environment for their babies to stay while they are away.

Jessie always dies such a wonderful job taking care of my dog even when he's not the best behaved... I can't thank her enough for taking care of my pup, I'm never worried about how he's doing when he stays with Jessie! She is my go to sitter :)

Jessie took great care of Winnie for the week of my family vacation! She sent lots of videos and pictures. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again!
Cannot say enough good things about Winston’s first time staying with Jessie! We received lots of pictures and videos and we were so thankful they treated him as if he was their own dog! We would certainly rebook with them in the future! Winston is already missing their fenced in yard!

We have a fenced in yard that we let the dogs run and play in. We seldom walk our doggy guests on a leash in an unfenced in area unless there is a need for it. We do not want to run the risk of any dog getting loose and venturing into the road or getting lost. When we are not home, your dog will do whatever they do when they are at your home alone (free roam of the house or crate). We want them to feel comfortable, safe, and ultimately happy in our home.

A typical day
Your pup will set the tone for their visit to be as lazy or active as they would like! He or she will have the opportunity to enjoy running around and playing with our pups in our large, fenced in yard where they can play, soak in the sun, or marvel at the cows, goats and chickens! Or, they can spend their time cozying up on the couch with our two cats who love dog cuddles!

Availability
We both work for a local university, only 10 minutes away from our home. When we are working on campus we come home at lunch to let the dogs out for a potty break and to exercise. Our family dogs are a priority for us on a regular basis. So when your dog stays with us, they are automatically our priority.
