I currently work for the USDA as part of the Animal Welfare Information Center (AWIC) team. Prior to that I received a master's degree in Animal Science, specifically animal welfare. I have worked at multiple veterinary clinics, dog shelters and my first job was pet sitting. I love being around animals which is why I pursued a career and education in animals and any extra time I can spend with dogs is time well spent! I have a very sweet 7 year old golden retriever and a playful 2 year old Bernese mountain dog. We have a big fenced in back yard and access to miles of greenway right behind our house including waking distance to Lake Elkhorn. I work fully remote so I can be home with your pup during the week and my husband is in grad school where he will have a flexible schedule and also be home. This means we’ll have plenty of time to care and play with your furry friend!
