I would give zero stars if possible. I have been a Rover customer for years and I booked Jessie because my regular sitter was out of town. I only needed her to drop in on Thursday evening to let the dogs out and feed them, then return Friday morning to do the same. At first, Jessie communicated well. She accepted the job and I sent her numerous texts and pictures to let her know where everything was since she couldn't come by before we left town. She did not reply to my numerous messages or show up at my house on Thursday. I had to call my daughter's boyfriend to come across town and let them out and feed them. He had to be at work by 5am on Friday, so I was hoping that Jessie would respond or show up by Friday morning when my dogs needed to be let out and fed. Still no response on Friday, so my husband and I had to leave Bloomington at the crack of dawn to drive home and take care of the dogs. I did not receive any response from Jessie until Saturday morning when she sent a text saying "I'm so sorry" with no explanation of why she didn't show up or contact me. She finally replied around 11:00pm Saturday night saying she got sick and should have contacted me. I was not able to contact her or anyone at Rover to cover for her and I am furious. My poor dogs had to suffer because of this, and I lost money on our hotel by having to check our early, not to mention how stressed and anxious I was during the entire time I was supposed to be relaxing with my husband! I will never book with Jessie again, and I will have to reconsider recommending Rover to my network of animal rescue friends and all my family and friends who have pets. Rover says they have 24 hour availability in case of an emergency, but good luck getting a reply to an email during an emergency situation. So terribly disappointed in Jessie and Rover.

My puppy and I absolutely love Jessie! I had just adopted my puppy when I began using Rover and was a little nervous about leaving him. Jessie totally put my mind at ease with her updates and pictures. I'll definitely continue to book with her.
