I'll Love Your Dog Like It's My Own
Pet care experience
I have been an avid dog lover for my whole life. I grew up with a golden retriever, and later adopted a lab-mix from a shelter when I was a growing up. I have had many petsitting experiences in the past as well (for family, friends, and professors). I frequently volunteer (with dogs and cats) at Animal Friends animal shelter and have experience working with dogs of all different sizes and ages (I also work well with cats). I also enjoy clicker training (with positive reinforcement only) and spend a lot of my free time learning about and perfecting such training techniques (I have even clicker trained a cat!).

I have known Jessie for about five (5) years now. I have known her to be a responsible, caring and compassionate person. She loves all animals, especially dogs and cats. and they respond to her with great enthusiasm. She currently is claimed by an elderly dog that she raised from a puppy and a young cat that she has recently adopted. I have an elderly cat (15), and whenever she sees him she talks with him, and pets him and interacts with him very gently. I have seen her with young dogs and she has the patience and stamina to keep up with those guys, too!
Jessie is such a sweet, caring person, and that empathy and care extends (perhaps even more so!) to dogs! She knows her stuff and takes excellent care of dogs -- she even makes her own treats! Your dog is in good hands with Jessie. :)
I've known Jessie for 6 years now. It is impossible to keep her from dogs. She loves dogs the way a lot of us love breathing. I know she volunteers at Animal Friends shelter where she socializes and trains dogs. She is dedicated to making every dog she can happy and healthy, with lots of affection and exercise.

I would want to know about any previous aggressive behavior (aggressive behavior would not necessarily exclude a dog from my services, I just need to know so that I can help to mitigate it). I would obviously want to know the dog's breed, name, and any health issues or concerns. I love dogs of all sizes, especially medium to large dogs. Golden retrievers are my absolute favorite breed (I am planning on hopefully bringing one into my home in the next few months).
A typical day
Available for walks and hikes in the Northern Pittsburgh suburban communities (Wexford, Warrendale, Cranberry Twp., etc.). I enjoy North Park and would love to take your dog there, assuming he/she can handle that type of environment. I am also willing to walk dogs in the communities near their homes. I greatly enjoy working on clicker training with positive reinforcement techniques (I have even successfully clicker trained a cat). I work on these techniques with every dog I work with at the animal shelter, as it makes them more adoptable. I also enjoy playing fetch.
