Pet care experience
I (Jessica) have had family dogs my entire life. I grew up in Southern Utah, taking my dogs out to "the desert" behind our home & running around all over the rocks and sand. Since getting married, I have adopted two dogs, a Lab & a Husky. They are my best pals, and we often spend our time out hiking and exploring-- when we're not cuddled up on the couch, of course. I have also volunteered at a rescue organization called RSQ Dogs in the summers. I walked, fed, & played with the dogs there a few mornings a week for several summers.

Jessica and Zach were great! They have a nice fenced backyard and allowed the dogs to use a dog door. She sent pictures while we were gone and Jagger looked very content. I would definitely use them again!

Our yard is large and fully fenced. It has a large grass area and a shade tree. We often play fetch and tug-of-war in the backyard & in warm weather we love to fill up the kiddie pool and let them splash around. Our dogs do well with others. They have been around dogs of all size, both in our home and out. Our Husky loves all other dogs & loves to wrestle & chase if the other dog will allow it. Our Lab just needs a meet & greet, & afterward will usually supervise the shenanigans of the others from his spot on the couch. We don’t have children or other animals. I am obsessed with taking & receiving pictures of my own dogs, so I will most definitely send you pictures & updates of your pup from our time together!

A typical day
If your dog has lots of energy, I will take them on hikes in the mountains or to the dog park. I also run, and am happy to bring your pup along if they’re used to running long distances. If your dog is more of a “chiller,” we’ll hang out in my fenced backyard, soaking up the sun on the grass. Either way, there will be plenty of cuddling on the couch & lots of pats given!

Availability
I work from home, so the dogs are rarely left alone during the day. In the event that they are left alone for an hour or two, the dogs are typically left in the master bedroom for their comfort and safety. We have a crate if you prefer your pup to be crated when alone. Zach works here in town, so he is also often home. He loves wrestling with the big dogs and letting cuddly pups sit in his lap while he watches sports.
