Hello! My name is Jessica and I love all animals, especially my furry friends! My home provides for a fun, safe, and stimulating environment for your furface, including plentiful play time and cuddles. I have been pet sitting for over 10 years, and very much enjoy it. I have experience with all size dogs, toy to large. I work at home, which makes it possible for the environment to be consistently supervised. My home has separate areas: • Dogs may play off leash with other dogs in my dog-friendly home equipped with a fenced in backyard. • At night, your pup will be cuddled up in a bed; or if preferred, on a comfy quilt on the floor or crated. Activities: • I provide an adequate amount of daily exercise in order to maintain a healthy well balanced and happy pet. • Younger and middle aged pups - I exercise them for about 1 hour a day with a local walk and/or doggie-friendly activities. We’re located close to the Hudson dog park as well as other walking trails. • Older, senior dogs – For dogs who need an easier routine, I will take them on 1-2 short walks a day so they may be exercised within their physical means. • Morning and evening meals (2x per day) and water all day long, unless otherwise requested. • Bathing only as needed. I am available for daily drop-ins! I only book one family at a time, meaning; I take one client at a time who may have more than 1 pet - so please feel free to ask. I can assure you, I will provide the best service and utmost love and attention to your loved one! Why I love dog sitting: I have had several dogs in my past - all mixes: Terriers, Golden Retriever, Pomeranian, and Labradors. I have pet-sit dogs, puppies, fish, other aquatics, cats and the occasional bird. About my neighborhood & yard: Our home is on a little more than 1/2 an acre. The neighborhood is very dog friendly, very quiet in terms of thru traffic and super laid back. The back yard is fenced in. We have a patio and deck that offers plenty of lounging in the sun. There are hills and side play areas in which your pet may run, play, fetch, dig, or sunbathe. My experience administering medication: Yes, as I have performed this for my own animals in the form of pills and paste.
