My husband and I absolutely love dogs! As dog parents ourselves, we know how important it is that your pet be well cared for while you're away. I have personally trained and cared for dogs for the past 15 years. Raising 3 dogs from puppies to maturity. We also interact with many different breeds as our friends and family are all dog lovers. From young to old, shy to confident, some with behavioral issues (i.e. separation anxiety, reactiveness, and fearfulness), we've cared for them all! My husband and I both work full-time from home so, your dog will have round-the-clock attention, love and exercise. A little bit about our 2 dogs at home... Charlie is a 5-year-old male Goldendoodle who loves to cuddle. He is independent and typically likes to mind his own business. He’s friendly and loves to play fetch. Benny is a 2-year-old male Bernedoodle who is best friends with every dog he meets. He loves to play with ALL dogs and adapts very well to different temperaments. I have a huge yard that allows for unlimited amounts of playtime and exploring. This is a dog-friendly home, so pups are allowed on the couches and beds, whatever makes your pup most comfortable and feel at home. Feeding time: We can cater to whatever your pet needs. Charlie is on a strict prescription diet, so we are used to customizing their meals. We also prepare fresh toppers/make homemade dog treats for our dogs so we’ll check in with you before if we can also give some to yours! We feed twice a day, but if your pet needs to eat at different times, we are flexible. Being home full time has its perks! Exercise time: We will give your dog many potty breaks outside and allow them to hang out in the yard to get some fresh air. As we live on a main road, we always drive (usually under a minute) to the nearest neighborhood for a safe walk. We also at times drive to Cedar River off-leash dog park for outdoor play. If weather conditions are bad (classic PNW rain), we also play fetch indoors – upstairs hallway where there is carpet. Everything we do for our loved furbabies, we’ll do for yours! Sleeping time: We are very flexible with the sleeping situation. Your dog can sleep anywhere in the house, with us in our bedroom, or can be separated in a different room with a crate/own dog bed. We will do whatever you think is best for your pup. Check-in’s: I know that having peace of mind is extremely important and can make or break a trip, and I hope to provide that by offering daily updates and pics of your pup during their stay. I'm also happy to meet with you before dropping off your pup. I'm always a phone call or text message away if plans change. Each dog who comes into our home is immediately part of the family.
