I have always had dogs and pets in my life, taking care of them daily since I went to online school and my parents worked all day so no one else was home to feed, walk, take out and even bathe our puppies. I am a 100% animal lover and can be very calm with even the most energetic dogs. I especially enjoy giving lots of love and pets and care to the dogs I take care of and greet. I always give dogs a chance to smell me before I go in to pet them just as respect for their personal space. Some other things I have experience is calming very anxious dogs, one of my dogs is a very high edge dog and has a lot of anxiety attacks so I always tend to take more time with him just to make sure he is comfortable.
