Hi there, my name is Jess and I love animals! My mom started teaching me how to care for our pets from the time I was a preschooler on. I took that love and care I developed, and have been dog sitting and more for the past 11 years. I currently work in a Veterinary Clinic (3+ years) as a Veterinary Assistant which has helped expand my knowledge and ability to provide the best care possible. From a tiny chihuahua to a giant mastiff, the cuddliest kitty to a fairly fractious one, I have worked with a wide range of breeds, ages, energy levels, and temperaments; and I love them all. Jess did an amazing job house sitting and watching our 3 dogs while we were out of town! Right from the time she came over to meet them prior to the stay, we could tell Jess was going to be a great fit. She immediately tried to get to know all 3 pups and was very open to any comments or requests that we had. We got lots of text pics throughout the weekend and it gave us so much peace of mind knowing that our babies were in good hands. We can’t recommend Jess enough and will definitely use her again!
Jessica did a great job dog sitting for us. She was quick to respond to messages, arrived when expected, and provided plenty of email updates with pictures. Allowed for us to have a relaxing weekend, knowing our dogs and home were in great hands.

I will not walk or sit for a dog that is not up to date on their Rabies, Canine Distemper, and Kennel Cough/Bordetella vaccines.
A typical day
Living here in West Des Moines, there are a ton of park trails around. There are also plenty of neighborhoods to walk around. I am willing to come to your house for walks, and I will research a proper path/area to walk. IF you have a dog park pass and you dog is up to date on vaccines, I will gladly take them to the dog park. If you have a yard, I love playing fetch and other fun training games.
