I find it easy to connect with dogs. I was living with a roommate for about a year and a half and helped to care for her, so I picked up a lot of experience. I've also helped out friends and family with dog sitting duties. It's a great job since dogs are easy to get along with! I can pick up on their vibes and mood. Almost like with people, but dogs are a bit more honest! Dogs are fun to be around... I don't know why more people aren't dog sitters! I also love cats and had a pet cat back in Jacksonville for many years (RIP Harrison) and another cat, Luz, when I was in college. At this time, I have a little experience with special needs dogs, as I've cared for a pup who was blind and also am familiar with deaf pups as well. As long as I know what to and what not to do, I'm more than happy to provide care. Also - I'm looking into being CPR certified for cats and dogs.
