It's important to me to establish communication and respect. Not just with you, as the client, but your fur-babies, too. I use the commands your family already utilizes and work to establish and build good communication. Just like people, dogs have different personalities - some are introverted others extroverted; some are playful, full of energy, insecure, fearful, unsure, the list goes on. Dogs are unique, like people, and I enjoy getting to know them. I believe communication is the first step. I have found it becomes much simpler to work with your pup when the foundation of mutual respect has been established. Play-time, walks, meals, bed-time, etc. becomes a much more enjoyable experience. Plus, I get such cute photos to send to Mom/Dad through the Rover app.
