Pet care experience
*** I am currently away due to health issues but hoping to be back soon!!*** Hi! My name is Jessica and I am 32 years old. My husbands name is Jacob (33 y.o.). We have 2 children together who are ages 6 and 8! I have worked with dogs professionally and personally. I worked with pets of all sizes while working at a pet boarding facility for 3 years. I dealt with behind the scenes including taking care of the pups staying overnight or just there for daycare! Cleaning kennels, feedings, potty breaks and give out medication to the dogs who needed them! I also worked at the front desk checking all the dogs in, making sure all vaccines were updated, take inventory, etc. It was the greatest experience I had!! I miss it so much which is why I am here! Personally I have had 3 dogs. I currently have a standard Goldendoodle who is 3.5 years old and about 75lbs. Even at a young age I was the one taking care of our pets! I am also going to school for Environmental Science, which include domestic animal husbandry. I did go to Veterinary Tech school, which was also such an amazing experience learning about animals and their behaviors! Although I did eventually changed my major, I still loved it! I absolutely love being around animals and have always had a knack for taking care of them!! It's what keeps me going! 😊

I have a community dog run here at my apartment complex that we use quite a bit to play ball or to just let them play! I am up for a walk, but unable to do super long ones as I had major back surgery in 2022, but my husband is always able to help with that! We are pretty relaxed here and take things easy. Always a huge 4 gal water bowl out for all my pets so they never run out! We always use a leash and a harness (if available) and make sure your pet feels comfortable and safe while outside and inside my home!

Please message me to see if you think your pet would be a good fit! As long as your dog is good with kids, cats, and other dogs that are large breed (my dog is 75lbs), then send me a message! All of my kids and my pets are very much use to having new dogs in the house and how to act around them. I'm very open to your dog meeting with my whole family to make sure they will fit well with us!
A typical day
I love to bring the dogs to the dog park that is just in the parking lot! The dogs have a safe place to run, play ball, or even just to hang out and do their business! A lot of dogs are use to going in the back yard, so it seems to help them. But if your dog is use to going on a walk, no worries! Walks are always welcomed! We have a trail by the nearby railroad that we take the pups on, which gives them lots of stimulation! Or we can hang out at home and just give some loves and scratches. Whatever your pup is up to! We also have a bin full of toys for them!!

I am a stay at home mom! I have 2 boys who are 8 and 6 years old. With them, sometimes mornings can be active but after about 830am things slow down a bit! 😉 My husband works from home, which works out great to help out with the pups when needed! Besides that, my dog Chewy is of course part of our daily schedule! Giving him daily exercise and enrichment is something that I love doing daily! Continually exercising his brain with different types of toys and chews!
