Hi, I’m Jess! I’d be delighted to meet and care for your pet whenever you may need! As I am missing my own two dogs back home, I’d love to treat your little one as my own when you’re away! I’ve grown up with dogs all my life, and cared for them from puppy to old age. I’ve also had several experiences watching cats, though I’ve never owned any myself. I’d love to provide anything they may need, from time outside their pen to human companionship to walks around the block. Smaller dogs are preferable (as I am a small human myself), and if there are any additional small animals that may need feeding or plants that need watering, I’m your girl! I live in Chevy Chase and mostly get around town via bike, but any stop that’s accessible via metro or bus I can make that work for afternoon visits/walks after work or overnight stays! *A note about house sitting - I work full time on weekdays, so if your dog requires someone to stay with them during the day, I am not the best sitter for your pet’s needs. I can offer to do an additional drop-in during my lunch break at no extra charge, but really the house sitting fees and services are meant to apply to time spent at your home in the evenings/overnights. Over weekends, I can spend most of the day with your dog without any additional fees, just let me know ahead of time what your pet may need! If your dog requires >30 min walks a day, I may also ask for a walking fee as well at a discounted rate. Just talk with me before booking and we can figure something out - I want what’s best for your pet while you’re away! Happy to provide all the love and attention your pet may require, as well as frequent updates on their wellbeing!
