I was a year old when my parents adopted a black lab for my birthday! He was my best friend growing up. They added to our family by rescuing multiple dogs along the way. We had up to 25 Persian and Himalayan cats living in our house at a time so I have a lot of experience with cats! Through the years I had bunny rabbit's, guinea pigs, lizards, fish and hamsters. I just couldn’t get enough! This is why I’m so comfortable around all types of animals. The one thing I always loved but never had my own was horses, but in my early twenties I was given a wonderful opportunity working at a farm with horses and ponies, where I became a professional horse groomer. And in my spare time I would ride. I have also taken care of llamas, turkeys, chickens and birds. I have had 3 pugs of my own and one that I still have. I also have a pit terrier mix that was a rescue dog at the Honolulu humane Society, I found him while I was volunteering. I am 37 years old and have had animals in my life from the start and I can't imagine life without them. I'm from the Berkshires and have lived in Hawaii for 7 years and Texas for a year and a half but now living in Lenox and would love to meet your animals!
