Pet care experience
I recently transitioned to a work-at-home position, so it is just me and my pup, Durango, during the day. We decided it was time to share our large, fenced yard, loving home, and eagerness to play! I have a 14-year-old and 11-year-old that love to help play and go on walks. Our home is the perfect fit for dogs of all shapes and sizes. We have a half-acre, fenced yard, and our entire downstairs is a dog-friendly area with rooms that can be closed off - if your pup would like to take a nap away from the playing pups. I have always had dogs, and I have been a caregiver for many friends, family, and neighbors throughout the years. I understand what it is like to be a worry-filled pet owner, which is why I will treat your dog, and your wishes for their care, with the utmost respect. I have a flexible working schedule that allows me to visit your home as well!

I had a lot of anxiety about leaving my “Velcro” dog when we went on vacation for almost 2 weeks. She’s an older dog with hip issues and has difficulty going down stairs. Jessica was great about sending me pictures of her running around and playing with the other dogs. When I picked her up she was running around and playing with Jessica’s dog, Durango. She obviously had a great time and Jessica accommodated her hip issues by placing carpet squares on the floor so she wouldn’t slip. I was very grateful to have such a caring, lovely person watching my Bella! I’m so bummed she’s moving! ☹️
Great time for Lucy. She played and was a happy Girl?. Will definitely use Jessica again.

I have a feeling my dog, Jade, had a lovely time at Jessica's. Jade had recently hurt one of her paws and Jessica made sure her paw did not get worse. I'm booking another stay with her because I know I won't have to worry about Jade.

We don't have any preferences. We love all dogs. Durango is quite high-energy - however, we can easily separate dogs based on energy and social levels.
A typical day
We have a lot of great options for walks around the neighborhood. However, our favorite thing to do is go on walks along the river. We also play fetch at least once a day. Durango loves to play tug-o-war with anyone - or anypup - that will play with him! With your permission, of course, we also like to head out on hikes and have off-leash time on BLM land.
