Certified Veterinary Assistant Dog Trainer SDHS Animal Disaster Response Team ASPCA Field Investigations and Response Team Responder 10+ years of animal rescue roles (foster parent, director, board member, public speaker, educator, trainer) Employed by local animal hospital I'm Jessica and I have many years of varying types of experience with animals. I'm happy to care for all types of animals: dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, fish, rats, guinea pigs, rabbits, and large animals. All visits and overnight stays will be tailored to suit you and your pet's needs! I live and work in and work in Golden Hill and love my community. I'm happy to travel anywhere, but if you're a neighbor, I'll give you first dibs. I am willing and able to help with any type of meds or special needs and will always consult with you beforehand to make sure to stay consistent with any training program you have in place. I can also make grooming or vet trips with your pet, should they have any appointments scheduled that you cannot make. The greater extent of my experience is with pit bulls (my favorite breed!), but I am happy working with all breeds and species.

Jessica is quite possibly the most loving, attentive, thoughtful pet sitter. My rescue bully Hammy is a certified diva... she needs meds, specific food, and has lots of physical and social quirks. Jessica watches her one day a week (when she can't come to work with me) and several times when I've been on vacation. When I was out of town, Jessica followed all of my instructions (all 4 pages) and sent me lots of updates. It makes me nervous to be away from my dog, but I was able to relax because I knew she was in good hands. I came home to a tidy house and a happy, tired dog. Jessica was also super sweet to my 11 year old Himalayan cat Gus, he is kind of a character and she cleaned up his puke like a champ. I've worked with Jessica for 10+ years in rescue and there's absolutely nobody I would trust more with my animals.
