I have experience caring for animals of many kind- dogs, cats, birds, most caged animals, and reptiles. I have most experience with dogs as I was surrounded by family dogs while growing up and have two rescues of my own. I worked for a boarding kennel throughout my college years and have since cared for many pets of friends and family members. I have experience with walking, administering medication, bathing, general grooming (brushing, nail trimming), providing special diet, and of course providing love and attention.

I also have experience utilizing crates, leashes, and muzzles if requested or preferred by owner. I am fully comfortable with any size or breed of dog.

I think it’s very important to know a dog’s temperament with other animals and people. Some dogs dislike small animals, other large animals, men, women, etc. I also need to be aware of any medical conditions, allergies, or special diets.
A typical day
I love to get to know the dog’s personality and accommodate them each individually based upon their needs. Some dogs need or enjoy a more social setting than others. Some dogs need more physical stimulation through a game of fetch, for example.

I currently work a schedule of 6:30am-3:30pm during the week. I am available for evening hours on week days and fully available on the weekends.
