My name is Jess and I am currently a Stay at Home Wife and Momma. I hold a Bachelors in Biology and my husband and I are business owners! I am a mother of 5 beautiful girls (19, 17, 16, 13, & 10.) 3 of my children attend in person school. This leaves my 17 year old daughter and I available to love on my best buddies, Jax and Gus! Jax is a 5 year year old German Shepherd and Gus is 1.5 year old Toy Yorkie. Jax and Gus have been cared for by other Rover sitters and have spent lots of time with other dogs and get along very well with them. Jax is large but is absolutely sweet as can be! I have cared for many different dogs, I wouldn't say any with special needs per say, except Roxy who was missing a limb, that needed special love and care. I am also comfortable caring for any pet with special dietary or medical needs. Prior to staying home with my girls, I have always worked in the medical field and am capable of handling any medication needs of a pet. My home is large and has a big fenced in backyard to allow for lots of running and playing. Our family loves animals and feel blessed to have the opportunity to be able to spend time with other dogs while their family is away. Our whole family is involved with loving and caring for your animals! For us, our clients dogs are part of our family and we sincerely enjoy providing a home away from home for your beloved pet! -------------------------------------------------------------------- MEET & GREETS: Are not required, but if it is a requirement of yours to ensure that your pet will be comfortable for a longer stay -- a day of doggy day care or an overnight stay may be booked. -------------------------------------------------------------------- STAY INSTRUCTIONS AND INFORMATION: -BEGINNING OF BOOKED STAY: Please message me when you are on your way to drop off your pet. For the safety of clients and their animals, my family, and my pets -- Pet owners are not permitted in my home or backyard. When you arrive, I will meet you on the porch to retrieve your pet/s and all of their belongings. Please have your pet/s on a leash for an easy and safe transition. -PLEASE BRING THE FOLLOWING (if applicable): Collar, Leash, Food, Bowls, Special Treats, Kennel/Crate (if your pet requires crating when leaving the house or at night), Dog bed (if your pet uses one), & any toys, blankets, or items they cannot live without! *If enough food is not provided for the stay, I will purchase and provide a receipt for repayment and a fee for my time, via booking modification.* -STAY UPDATES: Every pet owner will receive at least one update/picture per day (Usually more photos). I try to find a balance between bothering you while you are away, while updating you on your pet. Any emergencies or questions regarding your pet during the stay will be communicated right away! Feel free to message anytime with questions/concerns, etc. I will respond at my earliest convenience! -PICKUP/DROP OFF PROCEDURES: For the safety and convenience of all parties, during these times both client pets and my own will be crated/put up. Please try your best to on time for pickup your pet. I do understand situations out of control come up and I try my best to be accommodating. If you will excessively late or into the night, another day of booking will be required. -SITUATIONS THAT MAY RESULT IN ADDITONAL FEES: *Dogs that bark excessively through the night. *Dogs that have excessive vomiting/bowel issues. *Dogs that are not house or crate trained. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE --- be honest about these situations so that I may better care for your pet and do not have any surprises during their stay! OTHER INFORMATION: - LAST MINUTE BOOKING: A booking with less than 24 hours notice, will have an additional $50 fee, added to the stay. - ALL NIGHT CARE: If a pet requires 1:1 attention during the night hours, a $25/day charge will be added to the stay. -AGGRESSION: Any pet that exhibits excessive aggression or is a threat to other animals will be crated appropriately for both their and others safety! - DAMAGES: If any damage by the pet takes place outside of wear and tear, will be charged to the pet owner, as applicable, via stay/booking modification. -VACCINES/PARASITES/FLEAS & TICKS: All pets must be up to date on their vaccines, parasite testing and flea/tick prevention. -SICK ANIMALS: While I understand everyone wants to continue with their schedule plans, PLEASE do not bring a sick pet! This is for the best interest of your pet, my pets, & the other clients. ***ANY & ALL stay/booking modifications must be accepted and paid for prior to picking up your pet.*** -Stay photos may be used for Rover & Social Media.
