Hi! I'm Jessica, and I have more than 20 years of experience taking care of dogs of all kinds and sizes as well as other pets - including cats, rabbits, birds, fish, and even a swan! I'm a PhD who works from home full-time, so I can keep your pet(s) company in your home full time while you're away. Besides the usual feeding, play time, and belly and behind-the-ear rubs, I'm also experienced and comfortable with administering medication. If you're away for an extended vacation, I'll take in the mail and water indoor and outdoor plants if desired. Excellent references available upon request. Jess took care of my elderly cat for a week last year, and she was wonderful! My cat is sweet-natured, but she has thyroid issues and requires medication, and Jess was willing to take that responsibility on and was really good about doing that consistently and keeping my cat company while I was out of state. I appreciated knowing both that my space and my cat were well taken care of, and Jess was kind enough to send me photo updates so I could see how she was doing--and my cat loved her. I would recommend her for both cat- and dog-sitting without reservation!
Jessica has been caring for my two pups Mia and Chubbs during vacations in my home. She has been a fabulous sitter and a friend to my pets who would look forward to her coming over and spending time with them while I was away. My parents also used Jessica when they went away to Florida, and my Dad commented on how his dog Tango was looking for Jessica when they returned home! Availability
I work from home full-time, so my schedule is very flexible. Best times for dog-walking are before 9am, between 12-1pm, and after 5pm. I can keep your pets company in the evenings and on the weekends, too, since I start my second at-home "job" (my academic writing) after the at-home 9-5. Your pets will never lack for companionship!
