In Michigan, I owned a dog and was a doggy foster home on occasion. My little guy was my best friend and after 10 years of loyalty and love, he passed away in 2011. I continued to dog-sit for folks in my region until I moved to Colorado in 2013 where I petsat/walked for Rover for three years. Since coming back to Michigan in 2018, am back in Michigan and I am loving hanging out with local cats and dogs! I have been a dog-sitter for all types from those who are jittery or anxious, to dogs needing medications post-surgery or for treatment, to those that are just needing someone to feed or walk them! For two years I cared for a special needs dog from about 12 weeks old. He was deaf and partially blind and I was able to house-train him as well as teach him a variety of other "tricks." This could only be accomplished through patience, love, and an understanding of how to train puppies. I have a very flexible schedule and can accommodate a variety of needs such as dietary restrictions, health issues, and special needs dogs. I'm available to stick around the house as long as you need, including overnight stays, and am very active so I can keep up with any energy-level!
