Why Choose Comfortable Canines? Hello, I'm Jess and my pups' names are Nova and Maya. I have the energy, passion, and knowledge to keep up with and care for your playful pup. We have a 2.7 acre yard perfect for adventures. Rainy or cold outside? Not a problem here, We have a giant (4 car) gargage with heat and AC made for play time! Every dog can be a lap dog here, Nova certainty is! Unless a client specifies no furniture, we welcome your pup to join us on the couch for nap times. I've taken training classes and I am a Certified Puppy Sitter for the Guiding Eyes For The Blind which I have loved. This experience has given me a greater understanding of dog behavior. At Comfortable Canines we only take one families' pups at a time to ensure an enriched, personalized environment that traditional facility can not offer. By only taking one family's pets at a time we are able to add enrichment activities such as toy puzzles, brain games and field trips with your permission. I absolutely adore dogs and all animals and my goal is to make your dog happy comfortable with us. We even offer free lavender doggie massages! I only take one family is pups at a time in order to reduce the stress of staying in a new place (many sitters will take numerous dogs). We treat your pup(s) like family environment so you can vacation with peace of mind! My pup Nova is three years old and he plays great with all age groups and sizes. He has tons of energy, however, from your 8 week old puppy to your five pound Min Pin he is exceedingly gentle, friendly, and playful. My cat Katie might also say hello along with our blue crayfish Clarance who stays in his tank. Nova loves to help watch puppies, he falls in love and cries at the door when his friends leave. Our newest addition Maya is a goof ball and is 6 months old. She loves to have friends come play and is extremely well socialized. She has a lot of energy but knows when pups aren't interested in playing. I am home 24/7 so there is always time for playing, walks, exciting games, practicing tricks and we have a lot of things to sniff and explore! Our home is only cleaned with pet friendly products:) We aim for comfortable canines and work with your pup(s) to make their stay with us fun, cozy, and entertaining.

Awesome place my pups don’t like to come home
Jessica is a phenomenal dog sitter. We have had her watch our dog twice now and both times have ended with us picking up a healthy, HAPPY dog. She is simply an animal lover and has that extra touch of care you expect when leaving your pet with someone. We highly recommend her as an option when looking for a dog sitter. Our dog has been with her for extended stays as well.
Jessica embraced our shy Labrador Retriever with TLC from the moment they met at their meet and greet. It is obvious that Jessica knows animals and meets them where they are at with attention to their specific needs. Jessica made sure Bear was comfortable in his new surroundings through the questions, conversation and behavior observations during the meet and greet. This also made me, the owner, relaxed and confident Bear would adjust to his temporary home. Jessica continued to communicate with me during his stay by sending pictures of Bear with commentary opening the door to intermittent contact and assurance. Jessica has incredible customer service and is flexible if schedules change. Jessica refunded us for the days our trip was shortened at the last minute. I would recommend Jessica for any et service she offers and feel confident Bear is in good hands!
Jessica is obviously extremely caring toward dogs, she sent me several photos during my Kobe’s stay. He has a degree of separation anxiety and I was nervous to leave him while going on vacation but he did very well with Jessica! She asked many questions ahead of time to ensure that she was able to accommodate Kobe as best as she could. 5 stars, thank you!
