Pet care experience
I'm a huge animal lover with three cats and a dog. I bring my dog everywhere I can (hiking and beach trips are her favorite). I have had all sizes of dogs in my life and love every breed. One of my dogs (recently had to put her down) had a cleft palate, so I learned to accommodate her toys and food towards not hurting her sensitive mouth. My other dog came from an abusive home, so I spent months with her being a very scared malnurished pup and working through her issues. I've cared for dogs with disabilities, allergies, skin conditions and seizures as well as administered many kinds of prescription medications to dogs in my care.
Reviews
There is a lot to worry about when you leave your house and pets for any length of time. Will they be safe? Will they be comfortable? Will they be happy? I’ve had a lot of pet sitters but with Jessica, I never worry about any of these things. She always does what she says she is going to do and she sends a lot of photos. I can see that my pets miss me but there is a level of comfort and security in their eyes that let me know they will be ok until I return home. The communication remains open and I know she will talk to me if anything comes up. Thank you, Jessica!
Jessica took very good care of our dog and of our home for 8 days while we were away. We received daily updates/photos of walks and snuggles, and there were no issues throughout the visit. Jessica also did a several thoughtful and unexpected “extras” for us which made our return home way less stressful and more smooth! We will continue to hire Jessica to care for our old pup.
We have a reactive dog who takes some time to warm up to people, and Jessica took great care of her. We arranged a few drop in visits to acquaint our dog with her to lead up to a week long vacation house sitting we booked. We were nervous leaving our sweet (to us) old lady home without us, especially since she has some health issues, one of which requires daily tooth brushing, and a current skin infection that requires some ointment applied to it. Predictably, our dog was distraught when we left, and refused to leave the house for walks or potty, or let herself be petted or touched for the first couple of days, and Jessica was super communicative with us throughout all of this, and was very patient with our girl, who finally warmed up after the first 2 days, and relaxed back into a more normal routine. The house was left in great conditions, and we received daily pictures of our dog looking more relaxed and comfortable by the day. I appreciate all she's done for us and our dog ^^
Jess is amazing! She’s our go to sitter. Our pit-mix loves her and she does great with him.

I love taking the time to get to know the pets im with and finding what they like or how they play. Depending on the owners preference I'm either with the dog the entire time, or only leave for an hour or two, so they will never be left alone all day. When I take the dogs out it again depends on the owners preference, I will either walk them in their neighborhood or drive them in my car to a dog park near by. I also have experience with many small animals so if you have a rodent or reptile, theres a big chance I know how to care for it! I also have some experience with farm animals!

Your pets must be FLEA FREE. I care for many pets throughout the day and also have 4 of my own, so to prevent spreading pesky fleas, please be sure your pet is free of any bugs. Thank you!
A typical day
I always enjoy playing with them and their favorite toy! I also like to get them out as much as I can, because who doesnt love to just sit in the grass on a warm sunny day or go for a walk through the neighborhood?

I do have a few regulars, so my week generally looks as follows: Sun: Mon: busy from 10:50am-1pm Tue: busy from 10:50am-1pm Wed: busy from 10:50am-2pm Thurs: busy from 11:40am-2pm Fri: busy from 10:50am-1pm Sat: I do still offer house sittings durring the week, and will always ask if you are comfortable with me leaving durring those times just to make sure everyone is on the same page. Always feel free to ask about my availability regardless, but I hope this general schedule helps clarify.
