Hi! I’m Jess. I’m a mom of 2 amazing little gals, ages 3 and 6, and a dog mom to a sweet 8 year old rescue pup, Gunner. (A pointer mix) As a child our family had 2 rambunctious Jack Russell Terriers who lived to be 17 and 19! When I moved away for college, I missed my dogs so much I got my own pup, Coop. Unfortunately, at about 8 years old he began to have health problems. I exhausted all medical treatments offered but sadly he passed away quietly at home. From that heartbreaking experience, I thought I could never have a dog again. Until only about a week later when I was donating Coop’s unused treats and pills pockets to South Lake Animal League, I laid eyes on beautiful “Gunner Boy” and realized my heart could love again! I have trained 2 dogs on my own from puppyhood to adulthood. I can help teach basic commands and some tricks, as well as provide potty training help. I’m up for leisurely strolls or runs with your dog, just let me know their pace! Depending on the day/time my children may be with me, they love dogs and help take care of our pup at home, but let me know ahead of time if you have concerns. Thanks!
