We are a homeschooling family which allows us to be flexible and make our own schedule. My Rover hours are between 8:30 AM - 10:30 PM. Please schedule drop-ins, drop off or pick up accordingly. I also typically ask for some flexibility since having two kiddos in activities can be unpredictable. Thank you to my amazing clients who are always willing to work with my schedule!

Your pet's safety is very important to me. Our back yard fence is secure, however please advise if your dog is a jumper and we can take walks instead of going out back. Additionally, if your dog is a flight risk, I recommend a tracking device that I can use should they try to escape. Please advise if your pet has any food allergies. We avoid giving table food, however I will be extra cautious if I happen to have something in the kitchen that your pet is allergic to. I do not require crates for dogs under the age of 2, however I ask you to use your judgment and provide one if you think your dog will get into stuff when alone. If your dog is destructive during thunderstorms or fireworks, this may not be the best environment and you may want to look into a noise canceling facility. I can administer medication if needed, but ask that you use your judgment about what environment is best for your pup.

How does your dog get along with other dogs? I board multiple dogs at a time so I want to be sure everyone gets along. Has your dog been around kids before? I have two kids who love all dogs.
A typical day
Expect that your dog will be loved by myself and my family during their stay. We like to give lots of cuddles and pets and sometimes go outside to play fetch if your pup is up for that.

I became a Rover sitter after becoming a pet "empty - nester" after loosing my second dog to old age. We had two boxer mix dogs from the time they were puppies. I know from experience how hard it can be to find a reliable pet sitter. There can be much anxiety leaving your pet at home all day while at work and when leaving your pet with someone while out of town. I hope to relieve your worry by providing needed attention and care needs for your pet. I promise to respect pet parent wishes and follow pet parental instructions. I enjoy my Rover pets and feel like they become part of the family during their stay. I look forward to loving on your pet as I would my own. Please note my toddler rate for puppies 1-2 years old is $55/night. I may waive this for exceptionally trained puppies, but in my experience things still get chewed at this age.
