Pet care experience
Hi! I'm a nursing student with lots of experience in pet care - dogs, cats, puppies and kittens (neonates in particular!), guinea pigs, bearded dragons, fish...the list goes on! Although not a certified tech, I have lots of experience in medical care for animals. Medications, injections, wound care, you name it. My rate is for up to 2 animals. Jessica is amazing! She was great with my three fur babies! She followed all the care instructions to a T and went above and beyond with her love, affection, and attention to the pups. She was even able to walk all three at once, which is no easy task with a 5 month old puppy. I will definitely be asking for her services again.

All walks are done on-leash, even if your animal is trained off leash. I typically avoid other dogs on walks unless the owner is 110% sure that their pet is friendly and so is the one we are meeting. I will have absolutely no guests with me in your home at any time. I used to think that goes without saying but I've heard of sitters doing otherwise so I just want to clear that up!

Things I (and any pet sitter) should be made aware of: any allergies, behavior issues, training you are working on, areas of the house animals not allowed (certain rooms, on the furniture, etc.), crate training or if your pet stays in a crate when at home alone, reactive neighborhood dogs we may come in contact with on a walk, and any medical issues your pets may have.
A typical day
I will stay at your home and take care of it as you would. Your pet will enjoy their time with me, guaranteed! Since I offer overnight sitting, I will also check your mail, water your plants, put the garbage cans out...whatever you need me to do while you are out. Daily walks are my favorite - I love keeping dogs active! I equally love snuggling dogs & cats, so there will be plenty of cuddles. I will keep you updated with daily photos of your furry ones and text message updates.

Availability
I am pretty available on the weekends and over the holidays. I split my time between my home in Austin, Texas (Where I am more frequently) and Brooklyn, New York. Right now (February 2023), I'll be in Austin for at least the next two months. I am accepting clients at both locations. If you're unsure just message me! Even if you see unavailability on my schedule, there's a chance that something has changed and I might be able to help!
