Pet care experience
My name is Jessica and I am a graduate from Tarleton State University with a degree in Biomedical Science and a Pre-Vet concentration. I was raised on a farm consisting of many different animals such as sheep, goats, horses, mules, chickens dogs and cats! I clearly love all types of animals and work very well with them. I’m super patient and I’m experienced in handling aggressive/anxious dogs and even those spicier cats. All my life I’ve lived with at least 3 dogs at a time. Currently (when I’m back at home) I care for 5 dogs in total. I have a Border Collie named Cheater, a Australian Shepherd named Chief, a Chiweenie named Delilah, a Lab/Pit mix named Sam and a Boston Terrier named Buddy. I am committed to providing you the best service and ease of mind when caring for your pups! I currently work at EasTex Veterinarian Clinic and plan on going to vet school in the next year - animals are my everything. You can set your worries aside knowing that I’m dedicated to making sure your pets are safe, healthy and happy in my care! While I’m at a clients home, I make sure I know the boundaries set and the reassure them that I am only there for taking care of their pup.

Jessica was AMAZING. She sent us updates regularly and stayed in contact with us all throughout the time we were gone. Our babies LOVE her and were so comfortable at her home! We will DEFINITELY be booking with Jessica again!
5 stars isn't enough. This was the first time we've left the house for an overnight trip and had a dog/house sitter. I'm so glad we connected with Jessica. Her background and veterinary experience really gave us an easy feeling. I was incredibly impressed speaking with Jessica on the phone and my wife had the same feeling after the meet and greet to introduce Jessica to our dogs. Not only did she take care of the house, she watched over pups and kept us updated with messages and photos. Jessica allowed us to relax and enjoy a long weekend away. We will definitely be utilizing her services again. Thank you, Jessica! We appreciate you!
Jessica was great! It's not easy letting a perfect stranger house-sit for you but Jessica did great and totally put my mind at ease. She was great with my 3 babies and I would definitely use her again.

I live in a spacious apartment that is dog friendly. My apartment complex is just a mile from the largest dog park in Nacogdoches, so you can rest assured your pets will have plenty of space to let out some energy! I live with my fiancé who is just as crazy in love with animals as I am, and is perfectly fine with all kinds of personalities and energies. His schedule differs from mine in which he spends more time at the apartment when I’m at work so he is available to give your pets the attention they deserve :)

I’d like to know their behavior with strangers/other dogs, breed (although I accept all dog breeds!) and if they have to take certain medications etc.
A typical day
We’ll take walks around the neighborhood or at a local park, play fetch, tug of war and I’ll even give a bath and good brushing if needed! I’d love to spend extra time teaching them a new trick! (Additional charges would apply for grooming services/training)

Availability
I work full time at EasTex Veterinarian Clinic in Nacogdoches M-F from 7:45am-6:00pm with an hour lunch break that I can use to attend to your pets during the day! I’m completely off on Wednesdays and weekends every week unless I update my calendar two weeks in advanced.
