Hi, my name is Jessica and I love animals! I've volunteered at many shelters, worked at an animal boarding facility/doggy-daycare, and have been trained professionally in animal first aid, administering medication to small animals (rodents, marsupials, cats, and dogs) and animal behavior. I grew up in a family of animal-lovers and have taken care of animals my whole life. Ever since I was a kiddo, I’ve had a natural knack for gaining the trust of animals and nurturing them. (I was the kid who brought home every sick and injured animal in the neighborhood- my poor mom). I’ve been sitting for my neighbors since I was in middle school and started taking care of animals professionally in 2014. I’m a college student (Pre-PA), so I spend most of my day doing homework when I’m not taking care of fur-babies. I absolutely adore all animals and will go beyond what’s expected to ensure that they have a fun, safe, loving environment. I love sending owners video updates of their fur-babies while they’re in my care. My goal is to make you feel like you’re still here with them even though you may be miles away. (I’ve even had owners FaceTime with their dogs before!) I can take the dogs out for small walks throughout the day, but if possible, I prefer to play with the dogs in the backyard until this Texas heat cools down.
