Pet care experience
Hello! My mother, Martha, and I, Jessica, are a team dedicated to take care of your beloved dog(s). Therefore, if you book with us you can ensure that your pup will be well taken care of with two caregivers- how awesome! As a team, we make sure that your pup is always supervised as well as gets plenty of walks and outside time throughout the day when staying in our home. This goes on to highlight our priority of safety and happiness for your pup(s). We currently have 1 dog of our own, a Dorkie (Dachshund and Yorkie mix) named Mya. She is \ spayed/neutered, updated with her vaccines, and is super friendly and playful with other dogs. We are active walkers and park-goers. We either go to Ramapo Reservation for their amazing hiking trails or to Ridgewood for their awesome Dog Run. We are very communicative with our clients and make sure to send an update or picture/video daily when you are away. Dogs bring so much joy into our lives- so it is a pleasure to care for yours. We welcome all dogs into our home to enjoy a safe, fun and loving environment- looking forward to your booking with us :)

AMAZING!! I traveled out of the country for my daughter's destination wedding and had never left my yorkies except for with family. I had such anxiety about leaving them until I dropped off my dogs. Jessica and Martha are so warm and loving it's immediately apparent when you meet them.. Thoughout my trip I received good night and good morning pictures and updates. My boys looked so content and happy. When I picked them up my Chaco ran back after Jessica. I highly recommend them, you won't be disappointed.

Dogs are allowed on furniture. Plenty of dog beds and toys are provided as well as medium sized crate and large crate, if needed. Dogs are walked with leashes and monitored closely for safety at all times both inside and outdoors.

We would like to know if your dog has ever experienced or expressed aggressive behavior? Tendency to escape? Separation anxiety? We would also like to know what practices and strategies are best, if applicable, for your dog to easily transition to being in our house or when you, the owner, is away. Our priority is to keep your dog happy and safe! For Dog Boarding: *We ask that you provide your pup's own food during their stay at our home. Thank you!
A typical day
We love to go to Ridgewood for their Dog Run-we find it a popular destination for our dogs- a great way to socialize with other furry friends and have fun. We also like to frequent Ramapo Reservation for long walks and hikes! My mother, Martha, likes to take our dogs on 5 mile walks frequently throughout Saddle Brook park. On the off-season, our doggos love to go to the beach and run wild and free! You can also count on our dogs and, the dogs we care for, to get their puppuccinos whenever we go through the Starbucks Drive Thru for a fun treat :)

Availability
My mother is retired, therefore, highlighting her availability in making sure that your dog(s) are not left alone, especially for long periods of time. I am a school teacher that gets home from work by 3:30. Therefore, highlighting my availability after these hours to work alongside my mother to make sure your dog(s) are walked and fed and most importantly happy :) On a sidenote, my brother and sister-in-law live in the apartment downstairs (we own a two-family home). They work from home so this ensures that if an emergency were to arise, they are readily available to assist as well.
