Hey there! My name is Jessica and I am currently in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Samford University and enjoy taking care of pets during my free time! I am 24 years old and my services include dog walking and check ins. I have had dogs and cats all of my life, and have always treated them like they are a part of the family. When I refer to my family, I always include my pets. Animals are a precious gift on this earth that are only here for a short time, but deserve all of the love. I will give you the care your animal deserves, because that is what I value. I also value communication between myself and the owner, knowing that I would want details on my pets care if I was the one using the service. I will always give you information on the care I provided so I can assure you that your pet received the best care. I can promise that your pet will treated like my own when I care for them.

This was my first time using Rover so I was a little bit nervous, but once I met Jessica and saw how comfortable my dogs were with her I was sold! She followed all my instructions to a tee, was punctual with check in times and sent plenty of pics of my happy pups. Overall, my experience was great with Jessica and I will definitely be reaching out to her again!
Jessica was very responsive and flexible for Nessa’s feeding schedule. She sent pics and actively communicated with me during our trip. Recommend.
Jessica was wonderful! She left a detailed card after each visit and kept us up today with pictures of our dog while we were away! She was consistent in communication, thorough in her visits, and went above and beyond! We’ll definitely be using her again!

When caring for pets in my clients home, I always propose doing a meet and greet before booking so I can meet you as the owner and well as your pet. This gives you an opportunity to show me where everything is and me to meet you and your pup. When I am in your home caring for your pet, I make sure to do everything you have asked of me while I am there. I always check to make sure I leave your home exactly how I have found it each time as well as locking the door before I leave.

I would like to know what type of dog it is and the weight of the dog. This is just so I can know what to expect before caring for them. I would also like to know about the dogs behavior. Are there any certain behaviors I need to be aware of? How much and how many times a day do I need to feed them? How often do they need to be let outside? Do they have any health issues I need to take care of? Any information about your pet is helpful!
A typical day
When taking care of dogs, I always prioritize exercise. I will walk them 3 times a day! While in my home, dogs typically play with my 2 dogs and get a lot of energy out. I will make sure they are let outside to use the restroom at least every 2 hours. They will also be provided with bones and toys while staying with me!

My schedule for school is always changing, but I am pretty flexible throughout the week and on weekends! Caring for dogs while I am in school works out very well since I am home a lot studying!
