I’d like to know your dog’s typical mood before sitting them. Is your dog the quiet, cuddly type or the excited about life type? I want to be on the lookout for signs your pup might be feeling a bit off, so knowing their general temperament is important to me. I don’t have breed preferences, but if you’re wondering what kind of dogs I grew up around, we had a husky when I was young, then a lab mix, two German Shepherds, and we currently have a lab shepherd mix that I helped to raise from six weeks of age. I’ve dog-sat for large lab mixes and a pug, a terrier, a Lhasa Apso, and a chihuahua mix, so I have a decent amount of experience with dogs of any size. I have also raised kittens and have had my own cat for nearly nine years now, so I am also experienced with cats.

I personally love exploring, so I would try my hardest to take your pup on an adventure around your neighborhood, and hopefully some places they haven’t been! I also really enjoy dog cuddles, so ending the day after a nice long walk with some attention to your pup sounds like the best day to me.
