**About me** My name is Jessica, or jmac, and I live in an apartment with my two roommates who both love dogs! I get weekly covid tests and am fully vaxxed. I was a dog walker in Minneapolis and Brooklyn and worked with dogs that had special behavioral issues, like leash aggression and small animal aggression. I also grew up with dogs, mostly hounds and labs, and have worked with bully breeds and large dogs since I was young. Because of my work in the arts and the unstable schedule, now is not the right time for me to have a dog of my own, so your dog would get a LOT of love and affection in our home in short term stays. I was a dog sitter full time in Brooklyn for a couple of years, but all of my clients are still in bk, so I'm fully available for new clients. **What to expect** If your dog comes with their own toys, you can be sure they will be played with. We cuddle, play fetch and tug of war, and go for long walks if the pup can stand them. We're right by one of the biggest dog parks in Manhattan, so if your dog isn't reactive, there's a huge space for them to sprint around, play fetch, and socialize. **Special rules or requests** I have no breed limitations, however, I am no longer accepting pups under 1 year of age to avoid damage issues: I love puppies but I don't feel comfortable asking for compensation for some of the more expensive things I've had to replace. It's not a dog's fault when they do dog things, but I also can't afford it too much anymore. :) If your dog is aggressive towards children, I can stop by your place, but we can't bring them into our building. We have treats at our home, but would prefer you bring your own dog food, especially if your dog is picky or has dietary needs. (If your dog is used to fish oil or egg in their food, that can be easily accommodated.)
