Our family of four LOVES dogs and is eager to care for yours! We had a black lab, Brody, for 11 years, and now we have Sophie, who is a 1-year-old yellow lab. She and our two girls keep us active with lots of walks and playtime in the backyard. We live in a safe neighborhood with sidewalks and 3 parks within walking distance. Friends and neighbors often rely on us to check in on their dogs while they are out or away. I work semi-full time and am in the office Mondays-Fridays from 9am-3pm. I would gladly fit in walks or check-ins after 3pm on weekdays or anytime on the weekends! In our home, our dog is loved as a part of our family. We love to spend time with her in our large backyard, which backs up to woods and a creek. We walk her on our safe neighborhood sidewalks on a leash or harness. She is given two meals per day with treats in between for being such a good girl. When we are not home, she stays in a large enclosed area that we created for her using our mudroom and a large modular gate, and she has all her favorite toys, her food & water bowls, and her bed. In a client's home, I follow any specific instructions given and am comfortable giving medications, special foods, or other specific needs. I can take dogs on walks in their neighborhood and will ensure that the dogs are safely returned home and that the home is re-secured when I leave.
