Pet care experience
I live in penbrook with my long term boyfriend Tanner. We bought our first house together here and have fully opened up our home to host your pet. About me: Since march 2022 I have switched from using wag, to Rover and have developed a steady clientele. I've cared for my own dog as early as age 12 and in 2017 I lived with and cared for a senior dog as well as 4 cats. I've worked part time over a previous summer with an ethical dog breeder where I cared for and walked many different types of dogs and learned communication techniques, puppy training, baths, and administering oral medication as well as vaccines. My passion is dog walking and boarding, but I'm here to assist those who need any extra help to care for and watch after their furry loved one. Your pet's safety and well being is my number one priority. I have no problem with - giving medication, - administering insuline, - scooping litter, -giving baths, - keeping up with training, -walking your dog no matter the weather so long as they are safe, - giving your pet tons and tons of love and affection, - getting out all of their zoomies.

We have a fenced in yard that we've built ourselves since we moved in in January. It's been a work in progress getting it fully finished but it is safe and secure. And we don't leave pets in the yard unsupervised. That way we can be sure they do their business and have time to play as well. I also love doing walks and drop in visits and I always carry bags on me for when they're needed.

Be honest and upfront with any behaviors I should know about ahead of time. Food aggression, hoovering, eye contact triggers, adversions to men, or toy aggression should be made clear upfront to avoid incidents of biting, or ingesting of street trash. I can handle these behaviors with advanced warning.
A typical day
I can walk your dog where ever you feel most comfortable with them going. I can do a lap around your neighborhood, or take them to a park, or even to a shallow creek for a splash. It's all up to your level of comfort and care. I've found every dog is really good at telling me where they usually go, so long as I keep them on a clean and safe path. I also love finding out what each dog's favorite game is and it's usuallly a fetch, tug, frisbee, or chase.

Availability
I'm looking to follow my dreams to turn pet care into a full time job. Right now I'm working part-time in the evenings in Lemoyne as a dog bather. In the mornings I'm usually doing walks and drop and visits. Meanwhile Tanner works from home full time (as a network engineer) to watch our boardings and daycares while I'm out. My schedule is flexible as long as I have advanced notice. Business has certainly been booming recently!
