Pet care experience
Hello pet owners! I am Jessica and I grew up with many small dogs but made a change to owning a big dog about 2 years ago when we adopted our puppy from a rescue. Since then I have been an active member of a rescue and have fostered and dogsat numerous dogs in that time. I have taken care of many types of fosters including puppies, special needs, and Senior dogs. Now that the rescue is focusing more on training, I have decided to open my home to other dogs and to continue providing my dog with a playmate.

I have a fenced yard and also a large outdoor kennel for dogs that need their space. I have a 5 yr old pit/husky that loves to make new friends. My family has worked on a lot of dog training since she was a puppy to get her to be well behaved and play well with others. She does enjoy walks as well and we would be happy to take your dogs with us around the neighborhood. If your dog tends to pull, I would suggest a gentle leader as it makes walks easier for me and teaches the dog not to pull. As summer arrives, my kiddos (9 and 11) will be home. They love playing with the dogs! We are happy to share our love and home while their families are away. *I do want to note, I board for a nurse and firefighter and their schedule is very random so I will randomly get asked to watch their dog overnight or during the day. She is a sweet little girl who gets along with everyone I've had over here. We can talk further if that will be an issue for your stay

I would love a family friendly dog! Size is not an issue as long as they can get along with my family and my dog. We have had puppies to pitties at my home and have been around Danes and mini poodles. We love all dogs, just want to make sure they like us back!
A typical day
Our dog Lia loves to run around the yard and play with all dogs. She also runs in and out of our house through the dog door which you dog will quickly pickup on too. We enjoy going outside and chasing the pups or playing fetch with them. We enjoy walks around the neighborhood and are always up for a much needed nap.

I am currently a SAHM and my schedule is open for boarding weekends/weekdays and drop ins during the week. I am flexible on time but if you have set days you prefer that would be great.
