I have always taken care of animals, but as I got older I did it more and became a lot more comfortable. I had a dog when I was younger, then when I began babysitting I took care of their dogs as well. When my sister stared working at an animal shelter, I would come volunteer on the weekends. I learned how to work with all types of dogs: sick, old, puppies, high-energy, low energy. I learned how to give medicines and deal with illnesses. I helped a dog get to the vet when he had a stroke right in front of me. I am good with dogs of all sizes and breeds. I am not afraid of meeting new animals, in fact I love doing it!
