Hi - welcome to my Rover profile! My husband and I moved to Portland one year ago and now have a lovely house in Tigard with a nice flat fenced yard and squirrel visitors 🐿️. It's perfect for chilling, sniffing, and fetching🥎. Our dog, Blie, is a 4.5-year old Border Collie mix who loves any and all dog friends. He's playful and social but will also match and respect your dog's energy after the initial excitement of meeting. I always do my best to ensure all my furry guests have a safe, engaging, and pawesome time during their stay with us 🐶. Having been a dog owner for the majority of my life, I understand the worries that come with leaving your fur baby behind. I’m here to alleviate those worries! I treat all dogs like they are my own and only provide the best care. I believe a happy dog is one that is well exercised (as needed), given lots of love & attention, and disciplined. I'm happy to follow any rules you have established at home. Daycare: - Drop off: 8am and on. Pick up any time. - I work from home, so your dog will always have someone while they are here on weekdays. Boarding: - Rover boarding is 24 hours per day. - Sleeping arrangement: doggy guests can sleep wherever they are most comfortable - in our bed / their own bed / blanket / crate / couch. If you're specific about where they sleep, I will be sure to maintain your routine. You will get updates with plenty of great looking pics of your pup - check out my gallery! Notes: - I kindly request is that our furry guests arrive clean as they have full use of our beds, sofa, furniture. - I will not take on any dogs with aggression or known separation anxiety issues - this will be assessed during meet & greets. - new clients looking to board for more than 1 night: I will require one daycare booking before your overnight stay to make sure we are a good match for your dog. - I am not able to take any dogs/puppies that are not house trained. - I take one dog at a time but will consider a 2nd dog from the same owner if they are not both super high energy. - Please be sure to have all vaccinations, flea and worm medication up to date for their own protection. *Furry guests staying 4+ nights and repeat clients will receive discounts!* Please feel free to contact me for any questions! Jessica took the time to meet us in advanced to make sure our dogs got along. From there we did a test run that went great and we will definitely use her moving forward for future vacations! So hard to find a good dog watcher when we moved here from out of state and we’re glad we found Jessica.

- No breed preferences but absolutely no aggression towards people and other dogs and no resource guarding. By aggression I mean any lunging and trying to attack without provocation. - At this time I cannot take on any dogs that have separation anxiety. - Please let me know your pet's schedule, food preferences, and any special notes.
A typical day
I only take 1 dog at a time so your pup will get lots and lots of attention and care from me. Depending on the energy level and length of stay - they can be super chill and cuddle up or play lots of fetch with Blie in the backyard. We can also take them go hiking with us on weekend.

I work from home home so I am home all day during the week! We will do potty breaks every 2-3 hours. They also have access to a large grassy fenced backyard. After work - usually around 6pm, I will take the pups on a longer (2-3 mile) walk around the neighborhood & park.
