Pet care experience
Hi, my name is Jessica and I live with my giant Saint Bernard named Captain America, as well as my cat Cheddar and my rabbit Ferrero. A junior in college, I have always had a love for animals and I am pursuing a career in veterinary medicine. I love to gain experience with animals where I can, and have interned at both Wade Hampton Animal Clinic and Foothills Animal Hospital. I currently work as a dog trainer at PetSmart, and have worked at Pet Paradise and Upstate Dog Training and Pet Resort in the past. I’m very comfortable with pets of all different types and sizes, and have been sitting and walking for years. I am very excited to join Rover and promise to take exceptional care of your fur babies and love on them as if they were one of my own!

Jessica was fabulous! She gave great care to our very needy, older Italian greyhound, with great communication while we were away. She has a wonderful attitude, lots of energy and is very caring (as well as lots of pet-care experience for her young years!). We felt confident leaving our dog and home in her hands. We will definitely book her again if she is available!
Jessica has a big heart, and is an absolute pro! We are so grateful she was able to stay with our pup during a recent family emergency, and she made our lives easier and our dog’s life fun! 11/10

Jessica was attentive to the needs of our dogs and did an excellent job following instruction, keeping me informed and sending pictures. We have an 85lb cane Corso and a 60lb Am Staff. Our Cane Corso can get nervous about strangers coming in the house so she set up a meet and greet and was able to put her at ease. We also have safety concerns with our am staff off leash chasing after the stray cats or other dogs and she did a great job making sure they were far enough away from others before letting them off. She took our concerns seriously. Would highly recommend!

There are plenty of trails and dog parks near by where we can go on walks and play games! I can stop by up to three times a day to check on pets that are staying at their owner’s home for walks, play time, or cuddles! I’m always ready to do some light bathing and grooming, and even training if requested!

A typical day
I love to keep your pets active both mentally and physically! We can go on hikes and make trips to Clemson and petsmart so they get plenty of attention! We’ll play lots of games, and have plenty of cuddle time. We can also keep things more calm and relaxed for your more nervous or older pups!

Availability
I work part time and take classes at Clemson, and have lots of free time in between! That way there is plenty of time to check on your pets through our the day for walks, feeding, and attention! My evenings are usually free so we can go on fun trips like Bowman field or Clemson botanical gardens! I love having hiking buddies on the weekends too if your pup is up to it!
