Pet care experience
I am focused on a positive training approach to dog care. I have done several training classes with my own dog and volunteered with him as a therapy dog. My training includes Therapy Dog Training, Canine Good Citizen and basic obedience classes, all through the San Francisco SPCA, which is a leader in positive training methods. I'm reliable and playful, and love exploring neighborhoods with a dog by my side. I don't usually take money for walking neighbor dogs or taking care of their pets while they are out of town, but I often do those things just because I enjoy it so much. I recently moved to Cincinnati from the Bay Area and love how many dogs I see around Cincinnati! Let me explore the city with your pup!

Jessica watched our dog Bailey, while we went on vacation for a week and did a fabulous job. Bailey went on daily walks and was made to feel part of her family. I trust that Jessica will be a great part of the Rover family. She is wonderful with her dog and other dogs in our neighborhood, so I didn't have any reservations with leaving Bailey at her house.
Jessica is a kind, patient, and trustworthy friend who loves her own dog like a family member. I've known her for several years, and she is a great dog owner, balancing care and discipline with plenty of affection. A responsible dog owner, she displays good dog etiquette when in parks and other public spaces. She has taken an active role in the community, registering her own dog as a therapy dog and taken him to the airport to comfort wary travelers. I've seen her interact with other people's dogs and would readily trust her with my own.

I don't have any breed preferences, but I do have a lot of experience with bully breeds and herding breeds. I will not walk dogs that use prong collars.
A typical day
If there is a dog park nearby, I will visit the dog park with your pup (if it's a good fit for your dog). I will throw the ball or frisbee until your dog is tired out. Or we can just do a sedate walk through your neighborhood. I constantly chat with your dog, reinforcing positive behavior.
