Last updated 5/2/23 Hi! Thank you for reviewing my profile 🥰 First, I’m a full time pet sitter and take my dogs with me everywhere I go. So when I’m house sitting they come with me. They are both potty trained and get along great with other dogs. Waffles especially loves to play but knows when it’s time to lay down and snuggle too. I have eight years of full time professional pet sitting and walking experience and many furry dog/cat clients that have grown to love me as much as I love them. I have a dachshund, a Great Dane puppy, and I volunteer for the Wildlife Refuge helping orphaned and injured wildlife when I can so bring surrounded by animals only feels natural to me. If I’m with your dog you can guarantee that they are safe, having fun, and going to come back to you happy and well loved. I have a few openings for new clients and would love to make some new furry friends to love and spoil.

Jessica was great in handling and caring for our Maine Coon male cat who has anxiety issues when we leave town for a while. Communication was excellent including daily photos and an occasional video. Highly recommended!

I only use harnesses and traditional leashes when taking dogs for walks, this gives me more control to keep your dog safe in many situations. I keep a pet first aid in my car just incase there’s any splinters or anything else. I am very cautious when house sitting, I have PTSD and trouble feeling safe sometimes so I go overboard making sure everything is locked, closed, knobs on the oven are all off, fireplace is properly put out, etc. When it comes to making sure your pet is safe in your home I follow your lead when it comes to what is acceptable for your pets in their normal home environment. Some owners prefer their dogs have marrow bones to chew when they are home alone, some prefer them only to chew when supervised, some dogs are kenneled, while others free roam the home. It’s your rules are for your pets I follow and it helps keep everything normal for them while you’re away. I make sure to promptly cleanup after myself so there’s no risk of pets getting into food they shouldn’t eat, chargers they shouldn’t chew, or anything like that. I do not invite people over unless previously discussed and agreed upon by you. I have been known to deep clean every now and then or help with household chores if I have the time so you might come home to a Pinterest worthy fridge. Your home and pets are very safe with me. 😊 I want to help make things easier on your pets while your away, and if I can make things easier on you in a small way I will do that too.

A typical day
If I'm hanging out with your pup you can bet they are getting five star treatment while also being encouraged to be well behaved. I try to keep you in the loop as much as possible by sending rover cards, photos, and detailed updates. I will treat and love your pets like my very own furry babies. I have no problem with dogs sleeping in the bed, snuggling up and watching Netflix, or transporting to and from vet/grooming appointments. I choose to work with animals every single day because I am passionate about their care and happiness. I love what I do and I like to think it shows in the experiences of the pets I care for.

My schedule varies by the day sometimes. The best way to guarantee your desired time slot is to book a month worth of walks/drop-ins in advance and let me know if you’d like to keep the same routine going forward and I’ll be happy to save that time for your fur baby.
