I cannot recall a time where I was not surrounded by animals! I spent my childhood/teenagehood growing up with a varieties of furry companions from large dog breeds such as Mastiffs and Dobermanns to smaller breeds like Jack Russell’s and Terriers. My family rescued and rehomed all of our animal friends, and with that, came a deep understanding of the individual needs of each animal and the unconditional love that we have been blessed to receive from dogs and cats. I have continued rescuing animals into my late twenties now, and volunteer at animal shelters to support the wonderful work others do. I currently have a 4 year old Romanian Rescue called Blaidd. After he suffered years of abuse, it has been a long journey of patience, love, and perseverance but now we have both been rewarded with a loving bond to last Blaidd’s lifetime. Although still wary of strangers and shy, Blaidd has come leaps and bounds with trust and confidence. I used to have two senior cats who required special medical assistance - they were found abandoned, malnourished, and severely depressed, however, after plenty of love and understanding, both cats were able to enjoy their retirement in peace and were no longer fearful of humans. I am experienced in specialised medical needs and behaviours, my family and I still rescue animals today and especially those who deserve a second chance at life. I would be honoured to meet your furry friends and give them the happiest of walks or even just some company throughout the day.
