I absolutely love dogs! My dad has always said he questioned who I came to visit on the weekends because I played with his dogs the whole time! I was never allowed to have pets growing up, so I played with everyone else's dogs. As soon as I got an apartment in college I adopted a dog. I had her for over 10 years, until she passed away. Currently, I have 4 dogs. Yes, 4. Luckily when I found my Boxer my husband fell in love with her immediately and she fit right in with my other 3 dogs. I am proud to say I am definitely "The dog lady". Dogs bring so much to a household. I am great with them. When I take your fur baby in you can rest assure knowing they are being loved just as much as my own pups. They ARE my babies while they stay with me. The quality of care I provide for them while they are in my home is impeccable. I have a black lab, yellow lab, pointer mix (a rescue) and now my Boxer, Maggie. I board at my house and do drop-in's at your home if you prefer to someone check in on them. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: *I require the pups I board to be 100% house broken. I have a doggie door, so they can go in and out as needed. I do watch a little dog who has a problem with marking in the house, in this case the owner provides diapers. This has worked out very well. I take them off when he is outside playing, and just strap it back on when he's in the house. If you are having a hard time finding a regular sitter due to this issue, I do not have a problem with it as long as you provide diapers. (as long as they are house broken-no pooping in the house) *They will not stay in a crate unless you request it, as they will just be a part of the family, however I like for them to have something from their own home while they are with us (bed or blanket) * Dogs must not be aggressive. Must get along with other dogs (as I have 4 of my own), and children. My children are 10 and 14, so you don't have to worry about children climbing all over your pup. *I typically require all new pets to be crate trained, however, I never crate them unless specified by you per your instructions. I have found as long as they have their bed or their blanket (their familiar smells) they do very well. *All dogs MUST be current on ALL vaccinations AND flea and tick preventative!
