My love for dogs far outreaches even the furthest places known in our universe. Since childhood my entire life has revolved around making sure my dogs are the happiest creatures on earth. I truly feel bonded to these incredible and unique little furry souls in ways words cannot describe. Often even the dogs whose owners describe them as shy or timid will find comfort in my soft and loving presence. I can earn trust and develop a connection with these furry loves quickly, and then shower them in hugs and belly rubs. My life literally has revolved around my dogs since I was 7 years old. I have taken care of dogs from puppyhood into adulthood, while cuddling on the couch, to running by the river, all the way to climbing high mountain peaks together. Every decision I have made in my life has been to give my dogs the most incredible life possible. I would love to share this love and kindness with your furry family member as well, and do everything in my power to make sure they are more than comfortable and happy while being under my care while away from their #1 (you!). I work part-time as a Registered Nurse in Truckee. My days off consist of either relaxing in the house reading a book, or finding an outdoor adventure . I live full time with my partner who works from home and our 5 month old puppy, Tyler. She is full of energy and loves play time with other pups! She will be sure to keep your pet stimulated and active, minus afternoon naps of course. I require that we discuss your pets demeanor, leash manners, previous socialization, and any particular behavior traits. I have a yard that is not fenced; however, I will take your dog out to potty at least every 2-4 hours, or more if needed, as well as long walks in the morning or evening to get some energy out. If it is pre-approved by you, I would absolutely love to take your pet on afternoon adventures in the beautiful mountains, lakes or rivers that surround the incredible town of Truckee. If your pet is crate trained I am more than happy to stick to that routine, but if they are potty trained and have full access to your house, they can have full access to my home and large deck as well. If treats are pre-approved by you, I will make sure they get them according to plan. Personal toys, blankets, bedding can be brought over, but I also have three large pets beds and loads of toys for them to play with. If your pet is resource protective I will gladly remove the toys from the house while they are visiting us. I am open to special requirements of care as needed to keep your pet happy and comfortable. I believe in positive reinforcement to maintain good behavior, and you have my promise that I will treat your pet as if it were my own very loved family member.
