I have had dogs and cats my entire life. As young as I remember I would try and adopt or take care of animals roaming the neighborhood. As a little girl I took care of my dogs pups until adoption. I currently have a lab and cat and I have cared for my parents older dog on several occasions.

I typically hang out on my patio multiple times a day to sit and relax, throw the ball to my dog. I have a yellow lab who is the kindest, sweetest dog you will know. She is 11 years old and is starting to slow down, but she loves company. I have a cat whom tends to take "Cat Naps" ALL day. She is comfortable with dogs.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs. Their typical bathroom and feeding schedule, including morning and evening routines. What their favorite thing to do is, if they like walks, what they don't like, how they handle new people. Do they prefer to be at home or out and about. Bedtime routines. Do they like to be kenneled at night or at any other part of the day. Do they like a tv on during alone time, do they graze or have specific feeding times. What is your dogs energy level?
A typical day
We will go on walks once or twice a day, usually in the morning and evening when it is cooler. I live next to both my parents and sisters and my entire family are animal people. If your pet loves attention and care that will not be a problem. My home is also quite so if your pet prefers that, then that is also an option.

I work during the day, but am home in the evenings and weekend with my yellow lab. My nights and weekends are spent at home with her doing family things. :)
