I am offering to take care of your doggie in my home while you are away. (We will care for bunnies, hamsters, fish, etc. as well.) I am home all day, everyday……… I work for an online K-12 school. I have a master’s degree in counseling and am employed as a licensed school counselor. I love animals! My 12 year old daughter loves animals as much as I do and she is as excited as I am about the idea of caring for dogs in our home. (It is just the two of us…..) We do not have a dog of our own (yet) so your dog will have our undivided attention. (Our cat can be separated from your dog, but she likes dogs too.) • Your dog is welcome to sleep on the bed or on a dog bed on the floor or in an open wire create (which I will provide). • I will follow your simple or detailed instructions about what you doggie wants and needs while you are away. • We have a yard with a good fence for a game of fetch and we love to walk and hike if your puppy dog wants that kind of exercise too. We live outside Tesuque, about 20 minutes outside of town. Rio en Medio is a great hiking area and it is only 5 minutes from us. • The cost is $35 a night, but I am flexible. I was born and raised in Santa Fe. After 25 years living in Colorado, we recently moved back to Santa Fe to be close to family. We know a lot of people in town and I am happy to provide references, including a local veterinarian who has cared for all of our family pets for 40 years.
